Catherine Hendry is a Principal in the Property Finance Africa team within Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession, with 17 years experience in the financial services sector including 3 years in audit & advisory, 1 year in banking & finance in London, 5 years in credit risk and 8 years in investment banking. She has held numerous roles linked to the origination of debt solutions across a variety of industries and African geographies. She moved into the Property Industry in 2017 initially with an emphasis on South African listed counters and thereafter headed the East Africa Real Estate Finance portfolio at Standard Bank. She was appointed in her current role at Nedbank in 2020 and her focus is on partnering with Nedbank’s Africa client base and sustainably growing the Property Finance book on the continent.
