Gitonga M’Mbijjewe

Gitonga M’Mbijjewe has had an active career in higher education for over two decades during which time he has participated in corporate affairs, strategy, university advancement, human resources, institutional accreditation, governance, student affairs, curriculum development, talent development, public relations, training, and as a faculty member in the United States and Kenya. His past administrative responsibilities include Director of Administrative Services, Director Strategic Initiatives, GSMC and as the Director, Digital Scholarship Centre (University Centre). Campus Director, Edulink International College, Kenya, founding Dean of Students, Kenya Methodist University, Nairobi Campus, and later as founding Director of the Office of Corporate Affairs within the same university. He has also worked in the not-for-profit sector as the partnerships lead. An avid volunteer and farmer, he is passionate about mentorship, the environment, emerging technologies, has served as a board member of Friends of Nairobi Natial Park, is a board member of the Radio Society of Kenya (Amateur/Ham radio) . Most recently as Board Chair of Ripples International, a child and human rights non-profit organization, and is an active member of Smart Speak Toastmaster Club, Toastmasters International.
