Tourism Investment Projects in Morocco

Aghroud

To diversify and increase the size of the seaside offer and to remedy the deficit in the accommodation capacity and entertainment facilities of the seaside destination of Agadir, the project of the new tourist area Aghroud has been launched in partnership with the Region of Souss Massa and the Wilaya. It should lead to the creation of about twenty serviced lots of appropriate size to meet the needs of the target tourism investors. The seaside site Aghroud, is located 35 km north of Agadir and 50 km from the international airport Al Massira of Agadir, it has an exceptional beach (crystal clear waters and calm) and landscape out of the ordinary offering opportunities for tourism development and seaside.

Plage Blanche

Plage Blanche is a 30km long beach with high and splendid white sand dunes at the back of it. The vision for the project entails the creation of a resort that fit with the dunes’ scenery and the cultural components of the region, coupled with animation, sports and leisure activities. The aim is to create a whole new type of beach destination. The proposed site for the project is located 62 km South of the city of Guelmim (and its brand[1]new airport) on the site known as “Plage Blanche”. The proposed lot lies on a corner that faces both the Atlantic Oceana and a river mouth on the steps of sand dunes.

Dakhla Bay

Dakhla Bay is the the ultimate hot spot for nautical sports & adventures. The vision for this project is to make the Dakhla Oued Eddahab Region, by 2030, an exclusive destination of international scope around the seaside tourism niche (controlled development) and position it on the map of global destinations of board sports. The proposed project site is located at PK 25 km to the north of the city. The site covers an area of about 30 ha and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The goal is to create accommodation in harmony with the desert and the cultural environment of the region with a capacity of 500 beds coupled with leisure components and sports and recreation facilities

Dino Parc

The Dinopark, a cultural and recreational facility, will capitalise on the theme of dinosaurs. It will be an innovative and structuring facility for the development of tourism in the region, an essential component of the Geopark MGOUN. The goal for the project is to create a structuring project, locomotive of socio-economic development. It is suspected to have a catalyst effect on investment and activity, Improving the quality of life of the local population. The location of the project is between three major tourist poles. The proposed land (10 ha) for the project is located in the site of Ouzoud (ouzoud waterfalls) .This land is located near the natural and tourist sites and the geosites of the region.

Marrakech Leisure Resort

The vision for Marrakech Leisure Resort is to accelerate the growth of overnight stays and promote the extension of the average length of stay, particularly in destinations such as Marrakech which suffer from a lack of entertainment and leisure facilities. The goal is to develop a real leisure park of international level both by the diversity of the offer and by the development and infrastructure. Aim is to reach a wide range of national and international tourists. The site chosen extends over 200 Ha, only 72 km from Marrakech and 2 hours from Casablanca.
