As Founder and CEO of Kuriftu Resorts, Ethiopia’s most impactful hospitality brand, he has built a portfolio blending cultural authenticity with world-class luxury. His projects include Kuriftu Resort & Spa Lake Tana, Kuriftu Resort & Spa Awash Falls, East Africa’s largest water park, Ethiopia’s first adventure park, and the African Union-endorsed Kuriftu African Village. He also founded Boston Day Spa, the largest spa in Ethiopia, revolutionizing the country’s wellness sector. A passionate advocate for intra-African tourism, Tadiwos is committed to connecting travelers across the continent. In 2025, he is expanding Kuriftu’s footprint with new resorts in Arbaminch, Semera, and Murchison Falls, Uganda. Serving on the Ethiopian Board of Tourism, he continues to champion regional hospitality initiatives and inspire a new generation of African entrepreneurs.
