Graham Wood rejoined Sun International on 1 February 2020 as the Chief Operations Officer: Hospitality. Since January 2023 he has filled the role of Chief Operations Officer for the entire group, overseeing all of its gaming, hospitality and marketing operations. Graham returned to the Sun International Group in 2020, after 12 years. During that time, he served as Managing Director of Hotels at the Tsogo Sun Group for five years before forming GIW Consulting, specialising in strategic Hospitality and Tourism consulting and asset management services. Wood joins Sun International from Valor Hospitality Partners Africa, where he held the position of Managing Director. Graham initially joined Sun City as a project accountant in 1996. By 2001, he was appointed Regional Financial Manager for the Group’s Resorts division. He was promoted to Director of Operations: Sun City Resort in 2003, and to the position of Divisional Director (Designate) for Resorts between 2007 and 2008, when he left to join Tsogo Sun.
