Suhail Ashok Bhatia is a hospitality leader with 20 years of global experience across operations, commercial sales, revenue management and digital transformation. As Director of Asset Management at CHIC—the largest hotel owner and developer in the DRC—he oversees a fast-growing Accor-branded portfolio, with three operational hotels and plans to reach 1,000 keys by 2030. Previously, Suhail held leadership roles with Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, The Leela, ITC, and Taj across India, and led digital transformation ventures in India and the UAE. At CHIC, he drives performance strategy, project delivery, and owner-operator relations. His leadership helped Novotel Kinshasa win DRC’s Leading Hotel 2024 at the World Travel Awards. Suhail is a strong advocate for AI in hospitality—using it to enhance revenue forecasting, guest personalization, ESG tracking, and operational efficiency. Active in global hospitality dialogue, Suhail is a regular contributor at FHS, AHIF, and other industry forums, where he shares insights on hotel development, data-driven asset strategies, and sustainable growth in frontier markets.
